Role OverviewPanelmatic Inc. is seeking a dedicated and skilled Fitter Welder to build foundational frames, bases, and assemblies for engineered enclosures. The role combines craftsmanship, precision, and teamwork to ensure each unit is fabricated to specification, meets quality standards, and supports efficient downstream assembly.
What You Will Do
Interpret fabrication and weld drawings accurately, perform MIG welding, measure and fit components, operate shears and other equipment safely and efficiently, and conduct finishing work.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in metal fabrication or welding, with high levels of organizational and time management skills, and the ability to read blueprints and use measurement tools.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in metal fabrication or welding
- Ability to read blueprints and use measurement tools
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- MIG welding proficiency (mild and stainless steel)
- Structural fit-up and layout accuracy
- Equipment setup and operation (press brake, plasma cutter, shears)
- Dimensional verification and QA documentation
