Role OverviewThe Flavor Manufacturing Technician will work at the Flavor Manufacturing Center, located in Hunt Valley, MD. The role involves setting up and operating filling packaging equipment, performing hand-filling tasks, and operating a Spray Dryer. The technician will be responsible for keeping accurate production records, inspecting in-process goods, and performing sanitation duties. The role requires the ability to use logical thinking, memorize policies and procedures, and read and interpret various formula sheets and computer screens.
What You Will Do
The Flavor Manufacturing Technician will set up and operate all pieces of the filling packaging equipment, perform hand-filling tasks, and operate a Spray Dryer. The technician will also be responsible for keeping accurate production records, inspecting in-process goods, and performing sanitation duties.

Requirements
- High School Diploma OR equivalency
- One year of production experience involving mixing/blending/processing or related experience
- Ability to use logical thinking in performing multiple duties
- Ability to memorize various policies and procedures
- Ability to know when to go to higher level for a decision
- Ability to read and interpret various formula sheets, printed/written materials, and computer screens
- Ability to distinguish colors
- Ability to perform basic math functions
- Ability to lift and carry pails of liquids (50 lbs)
- Ability to operate hand tools, high-pressure water hoses, and enter information onto a computer (touchscreen/keyboard)
- Fork truck license required or ability to become fork truck certified through McCormick and Company
- Ability to work in a team-based environment
