Fleet Maintenance Manager

Lead a high-volume maintenance operation supporting a fleet of approximately 110 heavy-duty diesel trucks. Develop a skilled maintenance team, improve fleet reliability, control operating costs, and ensure safe, efficient operation.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 15+ years of progressive experience in fleet maintenance management
• Proven leadership experience managing maintenance technicians, supervisors, and cross-functional teams
• Extensive knowledge of heavy-duty diesel truck maintenance
• Strong understanding of DOT, OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulatory requirements
• Demonstrated experience managing maintenance budgets, cost controls, resource planning, and asset management
• Strong project management, planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting maintenance data, generating reports, and identifying operational improvements
• High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and computerized fleet maintenance management systems
