Role OverviewThe Fleet Safety and DOT Compliance Manager will work directly for the Director, Safety & Compliance managing Concordance's DOT trucking compliance programs. This position requires knowledge of federal, state, and local transportation, safety, and employment laws.
What You Will Do
The Fleet Safety & DOT Compliance Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all company and DOT regulations, policies, and procedures; design/develop & implement training programs as necessary.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Operations, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a transportation or distribution management capacity
- Extensive knowledge of and working experience with FMCSA/DOT regulations, hours of service (HOS) rules and ELDs
- Knowledge of Federal and State traffic laws and requirements for tractor/trailer equipment
- Ability to communicate in a courteous and professional manner
- Ability to work independently and be detail oriented
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to direct and achieve priorities, goals, and strategies with limited supervision
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail required
- Successfully pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check and drug screening
