Role Overview

DeVivo Companies has a full-time Fleet Technician opening at our location in Lancaster, NY. This position works at a customer facility and will help maintain a fleet of 140 dry vans, 120 reefer trailers, and 6 yard horses. The company provides comprehensive transportation, fleet, and equipment solutions.

What You Will Do

Maintain and repair fleet of trailers per industry standards, follow established technical & administrative processes, complete repair orders, parts usage forms, PM lists, and parts accountability, communicate effectively with supervisor, team members, & customers.

Requirements

  • 2 years' experience as an automotive, truck, bus, or trailer technician
  • Ability to prioritize and complete job assignments
  • Proficient with computer operation/usage
  • Valid driver's license, CDL preferred
  • Reliable, motivated, strong work ethic, and a can-do attitude
  • Owns and maintains the proper hand tools to perform job functions
  • A New York State motor vehicle inspector certificate is preferred but not required
