Role OverviewThe Flight Crew Training Instructor will conduct instruction in a classroom, cockpit procedures trainer, flat panel trainer, and aircraft simulator for all flight crews in airplane systems; normal, non-normal and emergency procedures. The instructor will evaluate student progress each day and take appropriate corrective action and/or make referrals. The instructor will also review revisions to all manuals and publications to ensure the latest information is taught to students.
What You Will Do
The main day-to-day responsibilities of the Flight Crew Training Instructor include conducting research on specialized maintenance problem areas to identify training needs, preparing classroom facilities and assembling all required materials for each day's class, and completing required forms and records to assure proper documentation of training.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience as an instructor in some technical phase of aviation training, experience using electronic training, flight planning and in-flight publications (EFB), and be an FAA or Military rated Pilot, Flight Engineer, Navigator, or other flight deck crew member.

- ability to fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA)
