Job Description
Role Overview

The Flight Follower’s primary responsibility is to the safety of flight. Flight Followers are delegated authority by the Director of Operations to exercise operational control jointly with the pilot in command IAW 14 CFR Part 121 Supplemental rules.

What You Will Do

Monitor flight status, release flights, collect and disseminate weather and aeronautical information, ensure ground handling and permits are in order, and identify potential delays.

Must have FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate, 1+ year experience as a Part 121/135 Flight Follower/Dispatcher, excellent attention to detail, and working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.

Requirements

  • FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate
  • 1+ year(s) experience as a Part 121/135 Flight Follower/Dispatcher
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations and company manual systems
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be able to read, write, and understand English
  • Valid unrestricted driver’s license
