Job Description
Float Medical Assistant - Dermatology, West Los Angeles. Participate in patient care, perform administrative and technical supportive services, and work with minimal supervision. Float within Dermatology locations. Salary Range: $29.46 - 38.87 Hourly.
Requirements
Medical assistant diploma or certificate from an accredited school
National certification for medical assistant issued by CMA, NCCT or AMT
Ability to administer CPR
Knowledge of normal and abnormal symptomology and life-threatening medical problems
Ability to administer medications and perform venipuncture with skill
Knowledge of medical terminology, lasers, and surgical instruments
Interpersonal skills to interact with patients and staff
Verbal skills to effectively convey sensitive information
Ability to perform EKG and assist with medical procedures
Ability to work overtime in cases of emergency
