Job Description
Responsible for accurately registering patients in EMR, verifying insurance coverage, collecting payments, and ensuring a best-in-class patient experience.

Requirements

  • Customer Service: Courteously and appropriately advise patients of collection and billing procedures, anticipated charges, and their liability and responsibility regarding payment.
  • Patient Flow: Schedule and reschedule patient appointments, accurately process documentation related to patient referrals, and complete a variety of clerical duties efficiently.
  • Payor Regulations: Research claim edits and denials, resolve discrepancies, and verify patient payments for services rendered 100% of the time.
  • Other Duties: Act as a backup for others in the clinic, support initiatives related to improvement in day-to-day operations, and provide training and orientation for other Team Members when assigned.
