Job Description
The Floater (Teacher or Teacher Assistant) assists and supports school readiness, monitoring developmental outcomes while providing responsive caregiving and developmentally appropriate and inclusive learning experiences for enrolled children, specifically infants and toddlers.

Requirements

  • Actively supervise and ensure the health, well-being, and safety of children.
  • Implement age-appropriate lesson plans, routines, and curricula inclusively.
  • Partner and effectively communicate with children, families, and staff to implement school readiness strategies.
  • Adhere to Center for Transforming Lives policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements (including, but not exclusively, Texas Child Care Licensing Minimum Standards for Child Care Centers and Head Start Program Performance Standards).
  • Demonstrate professionalism in decision-making and classroom leadership.
