The Floating Library Assistant supports the delivery of library services across multiple correctional facility libraries within the Central Region. The position assists librarians in providing access to library resources, supporting educational programming, and maintaining daily library operations that promote literacy, education, personal development, and successful community reentry for incarcerated individuals.

Requirements

  • Six years of experience planning and conducting employee development and training.
  • Experience working with adult learners or underserved populations
  • Experience supporting educational programs or group activities
  • Experience working in secure or institutional environments
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
