Role Overview

The Floor Supervisor will lead a team of Direct Support Professionals, ensuring safe, engaging, and meaningful experiences for adults with developmental disabilities. The role involves supervising employees, monitoring service quality, and supporting daily operations of the Adult Day Training program.

What You Will Do

The Floor Supervisor will lead, coach, and support a team of approximately 10–15 DSPs, ensuring participants receive safe, person-centered care and meaningful daily activities. The role involves monitoring employee performance, attendance, training, and required documentation, as well as coordinating activity schedules and participant services.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of experience leading or supervising direct-care employees
  • Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities; three years preferred
  • Valid Florida driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Basic computer skills; experience with Therap, iConnect, or similar systems is preferred
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical responsibilities of the position
