Role OverviewThe Floor Tech is responsible for cleaning and maintaining building floors, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, stripping, waxing, and vacuuming. They must also care for different types of floors, follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment, and mix cleaning solutions. Additionally, they will service, clean, and supply restrooms, clean windows and mirrors, and perform other tasks related to facility maintenance.
What You Will Do
The Floor Tech will perform a variety of tasks, including cleaning and polishing floors, moving heavy furniture and equipment, gathering and emptying trash, and cleaning and polishing furniture and fixtures. They will also be responsible for monitoring building security and safety, notifying managers of the need for major repairs or additions, and requisitioning supplies and equipment.
