Role OverviewAs a Floor Technician at Maryland Masonic Homes, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of floors and carpets throughout the facility. This includes vacuuming, mopping, and scrubbing to remove stains, as well as performing preventative maintenance on special floor equipment. You will also assist other EVS team members when necessary and adhere to all OSHA regulations, standards, and safety guidelines.
What You Will Do
Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include maintaining the cleanliness of floors and carpets, performing preventative maintenance on special floor equipment, and assisting other EVS team members. You will also be responsible for identifying and reporting any malfunctions of equipment and participating in in-service training.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3-years' experience in floor care in a commercial or long-term cleaning setting
- Ability to learn, operate and maintain all equipment necessary to perform job duties
- Must be able to work every other weekend and Holidays as scheduled
- Must be able to work independently
