Role OverviewThe Menchey School of Music is seeking a skilled and dedicated woodwind teacher to join their team at their Lancaster studio. The ideal candidate will have a strong musical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to inspire students of all ages and skill levels.
What You Will Do
Teach private lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels, create a positive and educational lesson environment, and help students grow musically and prepare for recitals.

Requirements
- A strong musical background demonstrated by at least 2 years of college-level music training, 5 years of teaching or professional performance experience, or an equivalent combination
- A bachelor’s degree in music education, performance, or a related field is preferred; candidates currently working toward a degree are also encouraged to apply
- Experience working with a variety of learners of all ages and skill levels is preferred
- Ability to successfully complete an initial background check, as well as recurring background checks every three years as a condition of employment
