Role OverviewThe Folder Gluer Setup Operator is a skilled technical position responsible for setting up, operating, adjusting, and troubleshooting folder/gluer equipment to produce high-quality finished packaging safely and efficiently. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, technical problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
What You Will Do
Machine set up, operate, and adjust folder/gluer equipment according to job specifications and established setup standards. Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment and process issues, including safely clearing jams and resolving routine operating problems.

Requirements
- Experience setting up and operating folder/gluer equipment in a folding carton, printing, packaging, converting, or similar manufacturing environment
- BOBST folder/gluer setup and operating experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand, adjust, and troubleshoot production equipment
- Ability to read and understand job tickets, specifications, setup documentation, and work instructions
- Understanding of production efficiency, quality control, and safe manufacturing practices
- Ability to perform basic math and production-related calculations
- Ability to be on your feet for the duration of an 8+ hour shift
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Frequent bending, stooping, and standing
- Willingness and ability to work overtime when required to meet production needs
