Job Description
The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and operational excellence of the luxury restaurant and banquet operations at the Beacon Grand in San Francisco.
Requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills; able to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
Strong hands-on organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills with a focus on coaching and development.
Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization, the business, and employees in a dynamic environment.
Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate effectively when appropriate.
Proficiency with POS systems and restaurant/reservation platforms.
Craftable and/or BirchStreet knowledge a plus.
Some college education preferred.
3–5 years of Food & Beverage management experience required.
Lifestyle / luxury hotel or luxury restaurant experience required; opening experience a plus.
California / San Francisco market experience preferred.
Prior experience managing banquets and events strongly preferred.
