Job Description
Peninsula Golf & Country Club in Millsboro, DE is seeking a driven individual to lead their food and beverage department as a Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all food and beverage facets, including a la carte locations, banquet/event spaces, and satellite locations.
Requirements
51% of each day dedicated to management and supervisory duties
Prepare and monitor annual budget, revenue goals, and expenses for the food and beverage department
Review and analyze financial and data results to monitor overall food and beverage performance
Direct ordering amounts, timing of orders, receiving, invoice settlement, and accuracy
Research vendor opportunities, pricing, service, and evaluate vendor relationships
Approve catering policies, contracts, and pricing; oversee planning, execution, and closure of events
Implement policies and procedures for the food and beverage department
Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates
Manage department members including sous chef, line cooks, stewards, food and beverage managers, bar manager, servers, bartenders, server assistants
