Job Description
Peninsula Golf & Country Club in Millsboro, DE is seeking a driven individual to lead their food and beverage department as a Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all food and beverage facets, including a la carte locations, banquet/event spaces, and satellite locations.

Requirements

  • 51% of each day dedicated to management and supervisory duties
  • Prepare and monitor annual budget, revenue goals, and expenses for the food and beverage department
  • Review and analyze financial and data results to monitor overall food and beverage performance
  • Direct ordering amounts, timing of orders, receiving, invoice settlement, and accuracy
  • Research vendor opportunities, pricing, service, and evaluate vendor relationships
  • Approve catering policies, contracts, and pricing; oversee planning, execution, and closure of events
  • Implement policies and procedures for the food and beverage department
  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates
  • Manage department members including sous chef, line cooks, stewards, food and beverage managers, bar manager, servers, bartenders, server assistants
