Food & Beverage Supervisor

The Food & Beverage Supervisor serves as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behaviors and positive guest relations. The candidate is responsible for prompt, friendly, and efficient service to guests in accordance with Marriott standards of food and beverage quality, presentation, and cleanliness.

Maintain cleanliness of work areas, assist in training and coaching new team members, handle guest service complaints and compliments, and perform various kitchen duties.

Requirements

• Maintain cleanliness of work areas
• Assist in training and coaching new team members
• Handle all guest service complaints and compliments in a professional and timely manner
• Input orders into cash register system and collect payment from guests
• Take guest orders, prepare food and beverage items, distribute prepackaged and prepared food items, and deliver orders to tables as needed
• Follow and ensure compliance with food safety and handling policies and procedures
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers and facilitate fryer oil changes as needed
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company Food Safety Programs within assigned area of responsibility
• Wash and disinfect kitchen area including tables, tools, knives, and equipment to ensure sanitary conditions and meet the departmental standards
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and food preparation checklist
• Dispense appropriate levels of alcohol; prepares drinks to recipe and Company standards
• Assist in the set-up and closing of the Bistro using the provided checklists
• Assist in checking all fixtures, equipment and conditions for proper operation
• Participate in all mandatory job training and meetings
• Perform any other job duties as assigned
