Job Description
The primary responsibility of the food runner is to expedite all food orders taken by the bartenders and food servers to the guest quickly, while maintaining a genuine and cheerful demeanor representing the Gordon Ramsay brand positively at all times.

Requirements

  • Serve food in a timely manner.
  • Ensure food order is correct before serving to the guests.
  • Monitor tables closely and be attentive to guests’ needs.
  • Describe in detail the preparation methods and ingredients of all the menu items.
  • Carry multiple dishes (up to 3 at one time) in one hand without tray service.
  • Passionately informs guests about Gordon Ramsay, his history, and current business endeavors
  • Refresh flatware after each course or upon guest request.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area/station.
  • Ensure work area/station is clean and stocked at all times.
  • Ability to work from a standing position for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to perform reaching and stooping motions repeatedly.
  • Visual ability needed to accurately measure ingredients for mixing drinks.
  • Fast paced, high volume environment involving constant public.
  • Requires standing, walking, and lifting a minimum of 20lbs repeatedly.
  • Shifts may vary based on business needs.
  • Must be able to handle intoxicated guests in a professional manner.
  • Must be able to tolerate secondary tobacco smoke.
