Job Description
We are seeking a Jr Sous Chef to join our team at the Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in culinary and be able to lead by example through sustainability/conservation efforts.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven leadership skills with an understanding of team building/development
  • Exceptional problem-solving/decision-making skills
  • Demonstrates multi-tasking, detail, analytical, planning and leadership skills
  • Ability to remain flexible in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and to move and handle boxes (10-35lbs)
