Job Description
We are seeking a Sous Chef to join our team at SSA Group. The Sous Chef will report to the Executive Chef and will be responsible for creating high-quality products, supervising and participating in the creation of competitive quality products, and assisting in menu pricing and preparation. The Sous Chef will also be responsible for estimating food consumption for events and requesting necessary products, demonstrating new cooking techniques, training and coaching staff, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and practices.

Requirements

  • Three years of food preparation experience
  • ServSafe or Food Handling Certified
  • Knowledge of HAACP
  • Culinary training
  • Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays
