Role OverviewThe Nutrition Services Aide is responsible for performing a wide range of duties within the foodservice department, including delivery and retrieval of patient trays, stocking supplies, and operating a POS system.
What You Will Do
Prepares and serves food, performs minor food preparation and portioning tasks, and delivers trays to patients. Ensures proper temperatures and portion sizes, and maintains proper food quality and temperature.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Customer service and/or food service experience is preferred, but not necessary. On-job training will be provided.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalency
- Ability to walk for up to 7 hours, sit for up to 1 hour, and stand for up to 1.5 hours
- Ability to handle, lift, carry, push, and pull objects up to 50 pounds
- Ability to hear normal conversation and have general vision, far vision, and peripheral vision
