Role OverviewThe Food Service General Worker is responsible for performing skilled work in the preparation and service of nutritionally adequate, reimbursable meals, meeting production deadlines, and ensuring the quality of food products. The role involves interacting with students, teachers, and other Food & Nutrition service-related personnel, and requires adherence to food safety rules, departmental procedures, and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP).
What You Will Do
The main day-to-day responsibilities include following daily work schedules, participating in on-going state-approved training, demonstrating exceptional customer service, operating point-of-sale systems, adhering to food safety rules, performing kitchen duties, and maintaining a clean work environment.
