Role OverviewThe Food Service General Worker will perform skilled work in the preparation and service of nutritionally adequate meals, meeting production deadlines, and ensuring the quality of food products. They will work in a team environment, interacting with students, teachers, and other Food & Nutrition service-related personnel. The role requires following daily work schedules, participating in ongoing training initiatives, and adhering to food safety rules and departmental procedures.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include following daily work schedules, participating in training initiatives, operating point-of-sale systems, adhering to food safety rules, performing kitchen duties, and maintaining a clean work environment. The Food Service General Worker will also assist with ordering, inventory, and food preparation, as well as operate food service equipment and drive vans and trucks for food delivery.
