Role OverviewPerform skilled work in the preparation and service of nutritionally adequate, reimbursable meals, meeting production deadlines, and assuming responsibility for the quality of food products. The Food & Nutrition Services General Worker (Assistant I) will carry out daily work schedules, participate in on-going state-approved training, and demonstrate exceptional customer service.
What You Will Do
Follow daily work schedules, participate in training, operate point-of-sale systems, adhere to food safety rules, perform kitchen duties, assist with meal service, and maintain a clean work environment.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have prior food service or cashier work experience, ability to follow directions, read, and communicate in English, and computer skills. Bilingual skills and a valid Florida Driver's License are preferred.
