Role OverviewThe Food Service General Worker is responsible for performing skilled work in the preparation and service of nutritionally adequate meals, meeting production deadlines, and ensuring the quality of food products. The role involves interacting with the general public, students, parents, and staff, and adhering to food safety rules and departmental procedures.
What You Will Do
The Food Service General Worker will follow daily work schedules, participate in on-going training initiatives, operate point-of-sale systems, and perform kitchen duties as assigned. They will also assist in ensuring meal service is safe and good quality food is served, and maintain a clean work environment.
