Job Description
Successfully lead Dietary department in the areas of staffing, operations, and strategy to ensure nutritional services are aligned with the needs of our patients and employees.

Requirements

  • Ensure meals are prepared according to standardized recipes and dietary requirements
  • Directs dietary staff to perform daily functions to meet needs for patients, visitors, and staff
  • Coordinate catering services for hospital events and meetings
  • Ensure dietary staff is following food code and dietary policies/procedures
  • Develop and implement dietary policies and procedures
  • Monitor and develop CQI performance standards for dietary department
  • Handle budgeting and purchasing of food supplies and equipment
  • Perform supervisory functions, including payroll/timekeeping operations, employment decisions, performance appraisals, coaching, and developing associates
