Job Description
The Food Service Manager is responsible for developing and implementing dining solutions to meet resident needs and tastes. This role involves leading a team, managing food and labor initiatives, and ensuring operational efficiency, client and customer relations, and compliance with safety regulations. The position requires a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or equivalent certification.

Requirements

  • 2 to 3 years of culinary experience in healthcare and/or senior living
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain effective client and customer rapport
  • Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with other departments
  • Certifications or equivalent experience in food safety/management (CDM or similar)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
