Job Description
SSA Group at Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is looking for a Food Service Operations Manager to join our team! The position is responsible for leading the food service operations, managing staff, and ensuring high-quality customer service. The successful candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, and experience in food service operations. The position is full-time and exempt, with flexible vacation and benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) program.

Requirements

  • Dynamic leadership ability and motivation to exceed customer expectations
  • Proven leadership skills with team building and development experience
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Financial management, merchandising, analytical, planning, and leadership skills
  • Ability to remain flexible in a fast-paced environment
  • Computer knowledge and skill level for basic office functions
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and to move and handle boxes (35lbs) as necessary
  • Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays
