Performs routine duties related to serving food, handles customer monetary transactions, and maintains accurate customer transactions.

Requirements

  • Greets all customers promptly and courteously
  • Handles all financial matters in a responsible manner
  • Balances the cash drawer on a daily basis
  • Maintains accurate customer transactions
  • Cleans the cafeteria dining area and customer service area
  • Informs supervisor of all supply and equipment needs
  • Maintains adequate food and nonfood supplies during meal service
  • Communicates all customer related comments and/or complaints to the appropriate supervisor
  • Completes all documentation requirements
  • Understands standard isolation procedures and HACCP guidelines
  • Understands role in hospitals fire, safety and disaster programs
