Role OverviewAPEC Afterschool Enrichment is seeking an engaging and experienced Foreign Language Enrichment Instructor to introduce elementary-aged students to the excitement of learning a new language and exploring different cultures.
What You Will Do
Create fun, interactive, and age-appropriate lessons that help students develop foundational language skills while building cultural awareness, curiosity, and confidence.

The ideal instructor will demonstrate fluency or strong proficiency in the language being taught, have experience working with elementary-aged children, and be able to develop age-appropriate and interactive language-learning experiences.
Requirements
- Demonstrate fluency or strong proficiency in the language they will teach.
- Have experience working with elementary-aged children.
- Have experience teaching, tutoring, facilitating, or instructing children preferred.
- Demonstrate the ability to effectively manage and engage groups of students.
- Be able to develop age-appropriate and interactive language-learning experiences.
- Demonstrate strong communication, organization, creativity, and professionalism.
- Provide a curriculum and lesson/activity plans for approval prior to beginning services.
- Provide instructional materials and equipment necessary to facilitate lessons.
- Successfully complete all required APEC onboarding requirements.
- Successfully pass a criminal records check and fingerprint-based background check.
- Follow all APEC safety, supervision, and program expectations.
