Foreign Pharmacy Grad - International Pharmacy Intern

This role is for Non-US Accredited Foreign Graduates who have passed the FPGEE and TOEFL and need to complete required US Internship hours. Under the direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist, you will work in a CVS Health retail pharmacy environment, building upon your pharmacist education to develop knowledge, skills, and abilities. The internship must be completed within 18 months, and you will be prepared to pass all required Pharmacist licensure exams within 120 days of completion.

What You Will Do

You will perform a range of pharmacy operations including processing prescriptions, resolving third party rejections, and maintaining inventory. You will also deliver patient care programs, support the pharmacy manager in developing staff, and counsel patients under pharmacist supervision. Additional duties include customer service, regulatory compliance, and participating in leadership activities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Equivalent Development (GED)
• Doctorate (PharmD) or equivalent Pharmacist degree from a Non-US accredited school of pharmacy
• Active Pharmacy Intern license in state where district is located
• Foreign Graduate from a Non-US Accredited college or school of pharmacy prior to beginning program
• Pharmacist licensure in the state within 120 days of completion of US Intern hours
