Role Overview

The Foreman / Pipefitting supervises and coordinates semi-skilled and skilled trades personnel, evaluates their work, and recommends training to enhance productivity. They break down broad strategies into practical action plans and ensure employees are trained to perform these plans. The Foreman is responsible for complying with technical aspects of the job, manufacturing, installation, operation, testing, and process operations that have a significant financial impact on the company's performance.

What You Will Do

The Foreman will supervise qualified trades staff, monitor job and budget performance for all shifts, and ensure employees are trained to perform their tasks. They will also recommend training to enhance the skill and productivity of employees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Apprentice Certification
  • High School and 4 years combined manufacturing, shipbuilding, trades, military experience
  • Associate Degree in a Trade/Technical and 3 years of relevant manufacturing, shipbuilding, trade and/or military experience
