Role OverviewThe Foreman supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in loading, unloading, storing, transferring and processing of recyclables materials such as scrap metal, plastic, and glass in outdoor recycling facility.
What You Will Do
The Foreman will perform duties such as conferring with plant personnel, planning and allocating use of material handling equipment, inspecting incoming materials, and enforcing safety regulations.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The Foreman will be responsible for reporting and helping to correct all HAZ ID's and near misses, and will work in a shop area and outdoor environments in all types of weather.
Requirements
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 3 to 5 years applicable industry experience or related industry
- Strong customer service skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
