Role OverviewThe Foreman Maintenance will supervise, assign, coordinate, and evaluate semi-skilled and skilled trades personnel according to their skill, experience, and job knowledge. They will be responsible for manufacturing, installation, operation, testing, and process operations that have a significant financial impact on the company's performance.
What You Will Do
The Foreman Maintenance will break broad strategies down to practical action plans and ensure employees are trained to perform these plans. They will be responsible for complying with all technical aspects of the job, including adherence to all drawings, procedures, etc.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have experience with heavy industrial mobile or translation equipment, preferably Western Gear translation cars or comparable electrically and hydraulically controlled heavy equipment. They will also be able to demonstrate the ability to safely lead employees, troubleshoot complex equipment issues, prioritize work, and coordinate maintenance activities in a heavy industrial environment.
Requirements
- BS/Apprentice
- High School and 4 years combined manufacturing, shipbuilding, trades, military experience
- Associate Degree in a Trade/Technical and 3 years of relevant manufacturing, shipbuilding, trade and/or military experience
- Internal candidates must have a Superior Attendance and Disciplinary Record
- Candidate cannot have more than 3 unexcused absences in the last 180 day period
- Candidate cannot have any safety DANS that result in a disciplinary layoff in last 180 day period
- Candidate cannot have more than 2 total DANS in the last 180 day period (excluding lost tool)
- Must be willing and able to work any shift assigned
