Role OverviewWork safely at all times, be aware of surroundings, and understand and comply with Pratt Industries Safety rules, operating procedures, and help hold co-workers responsible for safety related items. Participate in Plant Safety Committee. Perform general duties and responsibilities as required.
What You Will Do
Maintain accurate records, perform basic forklift equipment maintenance, adhere to production schedule, and move various sized units and products from various sources to the next staging area.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must be able to work overtime as necessary, sometimes on short notice, and have the ability to multi-task, problem solve, and read and understand a tape measure.
Requirements
- Must be Pratt forklift certified
- Previous Pratt and/or two years' forklift operation preferred
- Experience with 'scanner' or 'barcode' warehouse management inventory systems preferred
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience driving and operating a forklift
- Pass substance abuse screening according to company policy
