Role OverviewThe Forklift Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently removing boats from assigned spaces in the dry storage building, receiving customer service and launch requests, and performing daily tasks with a strong service focus.
What You Will Do
The main day-to-day responsibilities of the Forklift Operator include removing boats, receiving customer requests, performing daily tasks, and maintaining forklifts.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in marina operations and/or forklift operations, be able to swim and perform heavy lifting, and have excellent corrected vision and good balance.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old with a valid GA driver’s license and a good driving record
- Must be able to swim, perform occasional heavy lifting up to 75 lbs, and have excellent corrected vision and good balance
- Previous experience in marina operations and/or forklift operations preferred
- Forklift certification preferred
- Ability to operate the POS system
