Role OverviewThe Forklift Operator will be responsible for safely and efficiently removing boats from assigned spaces, receiving customer service requests, and performing tasks with a strong service focus. The role involves working with service staff to accomplish billable repairs and maintenance, and ensuring the forklifts are maintained. The Forklift Operator will also operate members' boats and jet skis in a safe and controlled manner.
What You Will Do
Daily tasks include removing boats, receiving customer service requests, performing tasks, and maintaining forklifts. The Forklift Operator will also work with service staff to accomplish billable repairs and maintenance, and operate members' boats and jet skis.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in marina operations and/or forklift operations, and be able to perform outdoor physical labor in varying weather conditions. Forklift certification is preferred, and the ability to operate the POS system is required.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old with a valid GA driver's license and a good driving record
- Must be able to swim, perform occasional heavy lifting up to 75 lbs, and have excellent corrected vision and good balance
- Must be able to perform outdoor physical labor in varying weather conditions
- Previous experience in marina operations and/or forklift operations preferred
- Forklift certification preferred
- Ability to operate the POS system
- High School degree or GED
