Role OverviewThe Forklift Operator will be tasked with moving all different types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long. The role involves operating a forklift on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock. The job is full-time, Monday - Friday, with various shifts.
What You Will Do
The main day-to-day responsibilities include operating a forklift, moving freight safely, and interacting with a computer display. The Forklift Operator will also be responsible for reading manifests.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will be dependable, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have previous forklift experience in a fast-paced environment. Some LTL experience is also preferred.
Requirements
- Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty
- Ability to read manifests
- Ability to read/interact with a computer display
- Forklift experience
