Role OverviewGourmet Foods International is a specialty food distributor seeking a Forklift Operator who is responsible for safely and efficiently handling products using powered industrial equipment in a warehouse and cold storage environment.
What You Will Do
The Forklift Operator will safely operate stand-up forklifts, sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment, load and unload over-the-road trucks and ocean containers, receive, stock, move, and replenish palletized products within warehouse racking systems, and utilize RF scanning equipment to track inventory movements and complete transactions.

Requirements

- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, carry up to 50 pounds, and push or pull up to 30 pounds of force
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift
- Ability to ascend and descend steps and safely navigate warehouse environments
- Ability to work in multi-temperature environments ranging from -10°F to 65°F
