Role OverviewThe Formax Operator is responsible for directing the workforce, ensuring product packaging, and maintaining equipment. The role requires a positive attitude, leadership, problem-solving skills, and verbal and written communication skills. The work environment may include cold and/or hot temperatures, fast-paced settings, and exposure to chemicals, machinery, and knives.
What You Will Do
The Formax Operator will perform tasks such as assembling Formax start-ups, preparing pre-operational paperwork, and monitoring chubs to ensure proper weight of products. The role also involves maintaining product counts, stimulating maximum safety, efficiency, motivation, and productivity, and anticipating and determining causes of delays in operations.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a food manufacturing plant or similar, with ground beef experience preferred but not required. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to take direction, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and demonstrate a positive attitude and leadership skills.
