Role OverviewThe Foster Parent Recruiter will conduct outreach in targeted communities for the purpose of recruiting foster homes. They will develop and distribute advertisements/fliers, receive and respond to inquiries from prospective foster parent applicants, and conduct foster parent orientations. The Recruiter will also work with identified foster parents, staff, and adolescents placed in care to co-lead foster parent recruitment engagements.
What You Will Do
The Foster Parent Recruiter will screen and interview foster parent applicants, collect documents required to certify their homes, and write documentation to ensure proper licensure. They will also participate in agency-based meetings, case conferences, and other activities relevant to foster home certifications, re-certifications, and performance.

The ideal candidate will have a commitment to work from a strength-based, youth development, trauma-informed perspective. They will be bilingual (English/Spanish) and have excellent verbal and writing skills. Previous experience in foster care and/or recruitment is preferred.
