Role OverviewThe Founding School Nurse will support the development, implementation, and management of the school's health program at our Founding High School in Providence, Rhode Island. Responsibilities include program management, nursing services, collaboration, health education, and professional practice.
What You Will Do
Specific responsibilities include establishing and managing a comprehensive school health program, collaborating with other professionals, assessing and planning health activities, developing individualized health care plans, and promoting student and family wellness.

Requirements
- Must hold a BSN or RN with a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
- Must have RIDE certification for the role or be willing to apply for certification
- Minimum of 1 year experience in public health nursing, community health nursing, school health nursing, or pediatric nursing
- School nursing experience preferred
- Familiarity with insulin administration and/or Hoyer lift preferred, or a willingness to learn
