Job Description
The Foundry Supervisor is responsible for planning, direction, and coordination of foundry operations. The role involves supervising hourly employees, establishing production goals, and maintaining a foundry budget. The supervisor is also responsible for implementing cost reduction and profit improvement programs, as well as ensuring that schedules and timetables are met. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Directly and indirectly supervises hourly foundry employees
  • Participates in the establishment of production goals and timetables for the foundry
  • Organizes production procedures and monitors performance
  • Maintains a foundry budget and implements cost reduction and profit improvement programs
  • Maintains close surveillance over all foundry operations to assure that schedules and timetables are met
