FPGA Design Engineer

What You Will Do

Design, implement, integrate, and test digital systems specifically regarding FPGA technology. Develop Verilog, VHDL, and HDL designs for FPGAs. Modify and/or design special purpose, custom RF System on a Chip (RFSoC) boards for real-time, hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) missile integration.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have a strong FPGA design experience in VHDL or Verilog, a DSP background using FPGAs, and experience with high-speed ADCs/DACs and FPGAs. Xilinx RFSoC experience is preferred.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
• 3-5 years of demonstrated experience
• Xilinx RFSoC experience
• Strong FPGA design experience in VHDL or Verilog
• Strong DSP background using FPGAs
• Digital filter design and DDS experience required
• Experience using PCIe, DDR Ram, multi-gigabit serial, and ethernet protocols with FPGAs and microprocessors
• Knowledge of basic serial communication protocols, UART, I2C, SPI, 8B10B
• Mixed signal PCB design experience
• U.S. Citizenship with Active Secret Security clearance
