Role OverviewThe Freight Operations Supervisor will lead and supervise all aspects of freight operations, develop and implement strategic work procedures, and ensure production goals are met. The role requires a positive attitude, multitasking, and leadership skills. The supervisor will also enforce company policies, rules, and regulations, and ensure customer freight is processed and delivered timely and damage-free.
What You Will Do
On a typical day, the Freight Operations Supervisor will lead and supervise hourly staff, manage workloads and tasks, plan employee schedules, and enforce company policies. The supervisor will also coach and develop employees, make recommendations regarding hiring and termination, and participate in internal safety and engagement committees.

Requirements
- 2 years of related work experience in a warehouse, distribution, supply chain, transportation or similar environment
- Knowledge of the Less-than-Truckload (LTL) industry, hazardous materials regulations and DOT rules and regulations
- Available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends
