Requirements

  • Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests.
  • Answer telephone.
  • Post charges, compute bill, collect payment, and make change for guests.
  • Make and confirm reservations.
  • Monitor room availability.
  • Block rooms.
  • Program wake-up calls.
  • Handle guest mail and messages.
  • Perform check-out services.
  • Maintain market stock and coffee area as needed.
  • Provide information to guests regarding hotel services and local area.
  • Assist in maintaining lobby cleanliness and reporting deficiencies.
  • Schedule shuttle runs for guests and provide transportation (select service properties only).
  • Perform laundry duties and maintain continental breakfast (Fairfield Inn only).
