Front Office Manager in Training

As a Front Office Manager in Training, you will be part of Kimpton's Manager in Training (MIT) program, which will allow you to develop your management and leadership skills and prepare you for junior management positions. You will be responsible for providing quality guest services, attending trainings, and participating in city volunteer activities. You will also be expected to wear multiple hats and take on responsibilities outside of this job description.

What You Will Do

Some of your responsibilities will include attending trainings, participating in city volunteer activities, training in all departments, and shadowing/experiencing various positions. You will also be responsible for providing quality guest services, including registration and check-out, PBX operations, mail and message service, and ensuring credit policies are followed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Tourism Management, Hospitality Administration, Business Administration, or relevant discipline
• Experience in hospitality, service, or customer-facing role with some leadership experience
• Ability to work on rotating shifts (including overnight) and be flexible in terms of schedule
• Excellent attention to detail and self-starter skills
• Excellent communication skills, eager to learn and grow, and have a can-do attitude
