Role Overview

The Front Office Manager is responsible for the operation of the front desk and guest services personnel, including staff training, inter-department communications, and staff scheduling. This role requires strong communication skills and leadership abilities.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include short and long term planning, budget development, guest room inventory management, employee coaching and counseling, and resolving guest complaints.

Requirements

  • 4 years or more of progressive hotel Rooms Management experience
  • At least 2 years progressive management experience within the Rooms Division of a hotel
  • Hotel/Hospitality degree an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse backgrounds
  • Clear concise written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills
